Made in Moorefield, Ontario All Circles cut, sand and finish every piece at their own workshop in Wellington County. Not designed here and made overseas. Actually made here.

A beam raised just enough off the floor to be interesting. Low enough that stepping off it is nothing, high enough that walking the length of it takes concentration.

Rearrange the sections into a straight run, a corner or a loop, and change it when they stop finding it hard. Baltic birch, made in Ontario, and it works outdoors as well as in.

What makes it useful

The right height Raised enough to be a challenge, low enough that falling off is a step rather than a fall.
It rearranges Straight, cornered or looped. Change the layout when they stop finding the current one difficult.
Indoors or out Works on a lawn or a patio as well as a living room floor, which few wooden pieces manage.
It stores flat Stacks and slides under a sofa. It does not need a corner of the room permanently.

Two beams or three

Two beams gives you a straight run or a single corner. Enough for one child and a normal sized room, and the sensible starting point.

Three beams gives you the length for a longer route, a proper loop, or two children using it at once.

Not sure? Send us the room size and how many children will use it and we will tell you which we would pick.

Materials and marks, as stated by All Circles

Made in Canada Built at the All Circles workshop in Moorefield, Ontario, which is the reason we stock them.
FSC certified birch All Circles state the Baltic birch plywood is FSC certified, meaning the forest it came from is independently audited.
Water-based finish All Circles state the coating across their range is water-based rather than solvent-based, which is why it has no smell out of the box.
Add beams later Start with two and add a third when the route stops being difficult, rather than replacing the set.

These are the manufacturer's statements rather than testing we hold ourselves. Our certifications page sets out exactly what we hold and what we do not.

Age 1 to 8 years
Options 2 or 3 beams
Use Indoor or outdoor
Dimensions and fit

Every measurement is on the diagram. Because the beams rearrange, the footprint depends on the layout rather than being fixed.

Leave clear floor either side, since stepping off it is part of using it. Send us the room size if you want us to work out which layout fits.

Materials and finish

Baltic birch plywood, which is denser and has more plies than standard birch ply. That matters on a beam, because the lamination is what stops it flexing underfoot.

All Circles state the wood is FSC certified and the coating is water-based rather than solvent-based.

Rated for indoor and outdoor use, though a wooden beam left out through a Canadian winter will not thank you for it.

Material information comes from the manufacturer rather than from testing we hold ourselves. Our certifications page sets out exactly what we hold.

Use and care

Use it on a flat, hard surface rather than a thick rug, which changes how it sits. Leave clear space either side, since stepping off is part of using it.

Balance equipment is for supervised play, and our Safety First page covers placement.

Rated for outdoor use, but bring it in rather than leaving it out through weather.

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it. Check the joins periodically, particularly after it has been rearranged.

Shipping and returns

Free shipping across Canada and the contiguous USA. Orders leave us in 1 to 5 business days.

Because it is made in Canada, there is no customs duty and no ocean freight in the timeline.

30 days to return it from the day it arrives. Return shipping is paid by you unless the fault is ours, and there is no restocking fee.

Not sure whether two beams or three, or whether to start with the wobble board instead? Send us the room size and your child's stage and we will tell you honestly. hello@truelittlenorth.com
