Will this affect my credit score?

No. Both Afterpay and Klarna use a soft check to approve you, which never shows up as a hard inquiry and does not affect your score.

Are there really no fees?

There is no interest and no fee when you pay on time. If a payment is missed, the provider may charge a late fee, so we recommend keeping the app reminders on. Full terms are on the Afterpay and Klarna websites.

What happens if I return an item?

Returns follow our normal refund policy. Once the refund is processed, your provider cancels the remaining instalments and refunds anything you have already paid for the returned item.

Who can use it?

You need to be 18 or older with a Canadian or US debit or credit card. Afterpay is available for Canada and the USA. Klarna is available for Canadian customers only.
