Putting shoes on is much easier sitting down, and much harder if the only place to sit is a stair or the floor. This is a bench low enough that a three year old gets onto it without help.

Small enough for an entryway that is already crowded, and plain enough not to look like children's furniture parked in the hall. Baltic birch, made in Ontario.

Materials and marks, as stated by All Circles

Made in Canada Built at the All Circles workshop in Moorefield, Ontario, which is the reason we stock them.
FSC certified birch All Circles state the Baltic birch plywood is FSC certified, meaning the forest it came from is independently audited.
Water-based finish All Circles state the coating across their range is water-based rather than solvent-based, which is why it has no smell out of the box.
Part of a range The same wood and finish as the All Circles shelves and climbers, so it matches if you add pieces later.

Use and care

Set it on a flat floor against a wall, with enough room in front to get a boot on without kicking the door.

A bench in a hallway will get stood on as well as sat on. Follow our Safety First page for placement.

Entryways get wet. Wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it rather than leaving snow melt standing on the finish, and put a tray underneath if boots come in soaked.

Check the fixings every few months and retighten anything that has worked loose.

Because it is made in Canada, there is no customs duty and no ocean freight in the timeline.

30 days to return it from the day it arrives. Return shipping is paid by you unless the fault is ours, and there is no restocking fee.
