Buying a mattress for a floor bed is harder than it should be. Most are built for adult frames, too deep for a low bed, and sold without telling you what is inside them. This one is 6 inches deep, sized to the frames we sell, and comes with the two things you would otherwise buy separately.
The mattress is made in Canada. It is medium firm, which is what a child moving out of a crib usually wants, and it sits on slats without a box spring.

Which bed does it fit
This mattress is sized to the three Montessori frames we sell. Match your bed size to the mattress size below and it will fit the sleeping area.

Sizes
Note the Double is 53 inches rather than the 54 inches you may be used to. It is cut to match the frames it is made for.

Materials and certification
A bamboo infused knit cover over a high resilience foam base, with a non slip fabric bottom. There is no latex in this mattress. If you want latex, that is our Organic+ instead.
The foam is CertiPUR-US certified, a programme covering foam made without flame retardants, phthalates or heavy metals. Mimi Beds also states the fabric is OEKO-TEX certified.
Certification information comes from the manufacturer rather than from testing we hold ourselves. Email us and we will request the certificates on your behalf.
Care
Put the waterproof cover on before the first night rather than after the first accident. The zippered mattress cover unzips and washes, and the waterproof cover washes too.
Turn the mattress head to foot every few months so it wears evenly. Follow your health care provider's safe sleep guidance on pillows and loose bedding, which comes ahead of anything we say here.

Free shipping across Canada and the contiguous USA. Orders leave us in 1 to 5 business days.
No customs duty to either country.
30 days to return it from the day it arrives. Return shipping is paid by you unless the fault is ours, and there is no restocking fee.
