A wall shelf mounted at their height rather than yours. Which sounds obvious and is the thing most children's shelving gets wrong, by putting the useful shelf where only an adult can reach it.

Plain enough to disappear into a room and hold books, a lamp and whatever is currently important. Five colours, all the same price, made in Ontario.

What makes it useful

You choose the height Wall mounted, so you set it where they can reach now and move it up in two years rather than replacing it.
Five colours, one price Natural, Cream, Blue, Pink and Navy. The painted ones are the same shelf with a painted finish.
Books facing forward Deep enough for books, a lamp, or whatever is currently the most important object in the house.
No floor space The one piece of storage that costs you nothing on the floor, which matters in a small room.

Materials and marks, as stated by All Circles

Made in Canada Built at the All Circles workshop in Moorefield, Ontario, which is the reason we stock them.
FSC certified birch All Circles state the Baltic birch plywood used across their range is FSC certified, meaning the forest it came from is independently audited.
Water-based finish All Circles state the coating across their range is water-based rather than solvent-based, which is why it has no smell out of the box.
Part of a range One of five All Circles shelf designs, so it matches rather than clashes if you add more to the room later.

Dimensions and fit

Every measurement is on the diagram. Measure the wall you have in mind, and decide the mounting height against your child rather than against the furniture.

A useful rule is to mount it so the shelf sits at your child's shoulder height. Any higher and they will pull on it to reach. Send us their height and we will work it out with you.

Fixing it to your wall

This mounts to a wall in a child's room, and a child will lean on it, pull on it, and eventually try to climb it. The fixings matter more than anything else on this page.

Use fixings rated for your wall and the load. Most Canadian interior walls are timber stud with drywall, which means locating the studs and fixing into solid timber rather than into drywall. Drywall anchors alone are not suitable for anything a child can reach.

If you are not certain what your wall is made of or which fixings it needs, have it installed by a qualified tradesperson. Responsibility for identifying the wall type and selecting appropriate fixings rests with whoever installs it.

Keep heavier items low and towards the wall rather than at the front edge, and read our Safety First page for placement.

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it. Check the fixings every few months.

Shipping and returns

Free shipping across Canada and the contiguous USA. Orders leave us in 1 to 5 business days.

Because it is made in Canada, there is no customs duty and no ocean freight in the timeline.

30 days to return it from the day it arrives. Return shipping is paid by you unless the fault is ours, and there is no restocking fee. Please check the fixings before you drill, since a drilled shelf cannot go back.
