This shows covers instead. Front facing, at their height, plain enough to sit in a living room. Baltic birch, made in Ontario.

Every measurement is on the diagram. Check the shelf height against your child rather than against the wall, since reaching it themselves is the point.

Use and care
It works best with fewer books on it than you think. Rotate what is on display and keep the rest elsewhere, which is what makes a child come back to it.
A reading corner works better than a bookshelf on its own. A cushion or a low chair beside it is the difference between a book being picked up and being carried off.
Set it on a flat floor against a wall. As with any freestanding furniture a child will pull on, follow our Safety First page for placement.
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it. Check the fixings every few months and retighten anything that has worked loose.

Free shipping across Canada and the contiguous USA. Orders leave us in 1 to 5 business days.
Because it is made in Canada, there is no customs duty and no ocean freight in the timeline.
30 days to return it from the day it arrives. Return shipping is paid by you unless the fault is ours, and there is no restocking fee.
