Made in Canada Designed and built here by Sapiens Child, from furniture grade maple or birch plywood. Not designed here and made overseas.

Two children at one table is easy when they are the same size. The problem is the two year gap, where one is dangling their feet and the other has their chin on the tabletop.

This solves it three ways. The table has three heights, you pick which two chairs come in the box, and each chair then adjusts again. So both of them sit properly at the same table, and it keeps working as the gap between them closes.

How it fits two children

Three table heights Set it once for where they are now, and move it up twice more as they grow.

You choose the two chairs Two small, two large, or one of each. Pick the pair that matches the two children who will actually sit there.

A border each Raised edges on both sides, so snacks, beads and pencils stay on the table rather than in the gap between two children.

A sliding tray Slides along the table so it sits between them or in front of one. For sharing snacks, pencils or whatever is being fought over.

Choosing your chairs and your wood

Two small chairs if both children are young and close in age, and you expect to move them up together.

One small and one large if there is a real gap between them. This is the combination most people with siblings want, and the reason the set exists.

Two large chairs if they are both past the toddler stage, or if you want the set to last longest before anything needs replacing.

Maple and birch plywood colour comparison

On the wood, both are furniture grade hardwood plywood, built the same way and carrying the same CARB compliance. Maple is denser with a paler, more even grain and costs more. Birch has more visible figure and costs less.

Assembly, use and care

It arrives flat packed with fixings and instructions. Customers consistently tell us this one goes together quickly.

Set each chair so that child's feet reach the floor and their forearms rest level on the table. With two children the table height is a compromise, so set it for the taller one and adjust the shorter one's chair up to meet it.

Set it up on a flat floor. Meals and activities are supervised, and our Safety First page covers placement.

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it rather than leaving water standing on the varnish. Check the fixings every few months and retighten anything that has worked loose, particularly after a height change.
